Message from the Principal

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to view the  Nakuru Town Campus College (NTCC),a Campus College of Egerton University. This is a Campus College that is rapidly emerging as  a centre of excellence  in Business studies, Medicine, Engineering and soon Law. NTCC is currently  riding the path of  academic  and is  set to be the major academic hub in Nakuru County. The academic focus at NTCC is set to play a pivotal role  in opening gates in Business and medical field  that will catapult  the Nakuru County and Kenya to achieving Vision 2030. Further to this, the Nakuru Town Campus college has made visible global footprints by collaborating with   reputable institutions   to produce  graduates of high standing.

Nakuru Town Campus College  is located within the proximity of Nakuru Business District. It lies  between Lake Nakuru National park and the Menengai  Crater. As a result of its location, NTCC has continued to act as the gateway to Egerton University. Headed by a Principal, the Campus has grown from a department within the university to a Campus College offering very competitive programmes like Bachelor of Commerce, MBA, MHRM, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Bachelor of Industrial Technology Communication and Media, Computer Science, Bachelor of Library Science  just to mention  a few.. The campus has a student population of over 3 000 and adequate staff.

Objectives of the Principal's office

The Principal in a perfomance contract between her office and that of the deputy Vice Chacellor Academic Affairs for the perion july 2012 to June 2013 cites the University's Mission and mandate as the guiding Principals to the Work plan

In the report, the administrator exposes that her office's objectives for the period would be foremost to improve the quality of higher education and trating, increase student enrolment and completetion rate, to increase research and consultancy output, the intergration of information Communication Technology in Teaching, Learning and Management, to increase community outreach and extension programmes and to increase the number of linkages and collaboration with Allumni Institutions, Organizatios and Industy. Also, to improve the Management of University resources, Staff and students.
